Bingo Night Live, the interactive numbers game show on ITV1, rewarded another one of its players with a Golden Jackpot at the weekend.

That lucky individual was a man named Dave, who hails from a place near Blackwood in south Wales.

According to the programme’s official website, Dave became £25,000 richer on Saturday night after buying his cards and playing online.

Last month, Michael from Margate in Kent picked up a £60,000 prize, having played the game in similar circumstances.

Giving away £85,000 in jackpots in the last few weeks of the series highlights the lucrative nature of the programme.

The website said: "Tension was high in the studio as we got closer to giving away that massive sum."

It also offered "a big congratulations" to Dave and "an enormous thank you" to everyone else that opted to join in with Saturday’s game.
