New friends Mischa Barton and David Walliams were out and about in London last night, visiting bars and restaurants.

The actress, who is best known for her role on The OC, headed to nightspots including the Connaught Bar and the Cuckoo Club with the funnyman, who made his name through TV show Little Britain.

In addition, the pair was joined by Lauren Budd, the 18-year-old model who has previously been romantically linked to Walliams, the Daily Mail reports.

Barton has been spending a lot of time in the UK in the past few months as she promotes her career change, a foray into fashion.

The 23-year-old has designed her own line of handbags and has been a regular on the high fashion circuit at events in London and Paris.

She has extended her range to include headbands, with a series of ten newly available that were created with the help of renowned designer Stacey Lapidus.
