Bingo will be played for a good cause in Penketh, near Warrington, on Friday night, it has emerged.
A stand-up version of the game will take place at a quiz night at the Penketh Tavern and it is a £3 entrance fee, reports the Warrington Guardian.
Money raised by the evening’s activities will go towards the Warrington branch of the North West Cancer Research Fund.
Last year, the pub ran a similar event and brought in £800 for the same cause.
This all comes after the numbers game charity initiative Bingo for Breakthrough ran successfully in October.
Ex-EastEnders actress Michelle Collins was the figurehead for the campaign, which saw UK bingo halls raise money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
For one whole week, various bingo establishments across the country focused on raising cash for the organisation.
A number of online bingo sites, including Foxy Bingo, raised money for Children in Need last week.
