Bingo to feature at Glastonbury

Glastonbury Festival founder Michael Eavis has revealed that in addition to enjoying live performances from some of the music industry’s biggest stars, Brits will also get the chance to play some bingo.

Launched back in 1970, the arts and music festival is the world’s biggest and promises a star-studded line-up of top acts year-on-year.

According to Reuters, now festival goers can also take part in "Cult Bingo" as one of the many sources of open-air entertainment on offer.

The 2009 performance list includes iconic acts such as Tom Jones, Status Quo, Blur and the legendary Bruce Springsteen, who is scheduled to play an extra-long set.

"He [Springsteen] wants to play for three hours actually, so we can give him two and a half by the sound of it or maybe two (hours) forty-five,” Mr Eavis told Reuters.

With the weather forecast to be warm and sunny for this year’s summer festivities, Glastonbury looks set for another popular spell of outdoor fun.ADNFCR-1782-ID-19230523-ADNFCR
