Boy band Blue have become the latest music group to get back together after they announced plans for a summer concert.

The singing foursome are planning to perform together at Capital FM’s Summertime Ball in June and spoke to the radio station about their reunion.

"We’re absolutely so ecstatic to be back together," said Duncan James. "We met up a couple of weeks ago to talk about it and we are so excited.

"I think we’re going to enjoy it even more the second time round," he added.

James and Blue’s other members, Lee Ryan, Antony Costa and Simon Webbe, went their separate ways in 2005, each pursuing solo careers in the entertainment industry.

The Capital FM Summertime Ball will take place on June 7th at the Emirates Stadium and will feature performances from stars including X-Factor winner Leona Lewis, Akon and Calvin Harris.
