The south Wales town of Rhoose will be holding a charity bingo session early next month, it has been reported.

According to the South Wales Echo, the Stewart Road Community Hall will provide the setting for the special numbers game.

Local organisation the George Thomas Hospice is set to share the proceeds of the afternoon of bingo with Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Bingo will get underway at 14:30 GMT on February 7th and the Rhoose WRVS Darby and Joan Club will be the hosts for the occasion

More fundraising will hopefully be achieved via the raffle and the refreshments on sale.

This comes after a Norfolk lady’s fundraising exploits were revealed by the Eastern Daily Press this week.

Sharon Moore, who lives in Fakenham, has held various bingo events and other activities in recent times that have helped boost the Cystic Fibrosis Trust’s coffers by £25,000.
