Crown Bingo‘s managing director (MD) Dan Smyth has dubbed Alison Hammond’s arrival at the site “a great addition” to the portal’s community.

Welcoming the former Big Brother and This Morning presenter to the Crown Bingo fold, Mr Smyth said it was “fantastic news” for the site that she was on board.

Hammond will hold various responsibilities including calling numbers and taking part in chatroom discussion.

“Alison has a great personality and will be right at home with Crown Bingo, one of the friendliest and most welcoming sites on the internet,” explained the MD.

The celebrity herself said she was “thrilled” to be involved with the numbers game company and revealed that she has often played bingo there.

The arrival of Hammond at Crown Bingo comes after Foxy Bingo started sponsoring ITV1′s The Jeremy Kyle Show and Wink Bingo linked up with the Vernon Kay-presented All Star Family Fortunes.

All three sites are hugely popular with free bingo players.
