Atletico Madrid – the former club of Liverpool’s star forward Fernando Torres – have launched a new website which offers bingo games.

The La Liga side, who now have star players such as ex-Manchester United striker Diego Forlan and Sergio Aguero in their squad, have brought out what has been described as a "unique online entertainment service".

In addition to bingo, the site offers users betting facilities, poker gamers and casino options.

Charitable gaming operator Paf is the group behind the launch of the new site and its head of business-to-business Anders Wiklund claimed that it is an "honour" to collaborate with the football club.

"Atletico Madrid is one of the first football clubs in the world to get its very own online gaming site, created and developed especially for the Atletico Madrid community," he explained.

Torres, who scored in Liverpool’s 4-1 win over Manchester United in the English Premier League on Saturday, started his career at Atletico and was captain of the side before moving to Merseyside.
