Gala Bingo has seen an increase in their number of players, with one land-based bingo hall growing by 400%.

The bingo hall which belongs to Gala Bingo in westfield Road, Petersborough, has even been forced to turn some players away, due to all the new members which have been turning up to play.

After the recent smoking bans, player numbers were struggling to reach even 100. But with new bingo promotion nights, the recent attendance has numbered in the thousands, with 1500 people turning up on the special free bingo nights.

Manager, Craig Hobson says, “We have gone from being in the doldrums to turning people away on some nights because we are so busy, in just a few months. People are looking for good value for money when they go for a night out, and we offer that.”

Gala Bingo’s recent Splash The Cash bingo promotion has also been a big hit around the country. Partnering with celebrities such as Sharon Osbourne and Barack Obama’s mother, Gala will soon be launching two new bingo sites for members to win more free online bingo money at.
