Gala Bingo employees trek to Mt. Everest

Gala Bingo employees are looking to make history this month by playing the world’s highest game of bingo.

A group of 24 of the free bingo site’s employees will trek to the Mt. Everest base camp at 17,500ft above sea-level to play a game of bingo.

As well as setting a new record, the Gala Coral employees hope to raise over £100,00 for the Sue Ryder Care charity.

They have already begun training for the difficult trek and will set off later this month, arriving at base camp on November 3.

The trek is over 75 miles up 2,700 metres of tough terrain.

Gala Bingo will be donating 10% of the value of ticket sales to the Sue Ryder Care charity during the duration of the trek.
