A grandmother completed a full house in 43 numbers at a Gala Bingo club recently and won over £160,000 as a result.

The numbers game victory, which occurred in the Coatbridge-based bingo hall, had a number of “strange” coincidences, according to the lucky lady who picked up the prize.

Commenting to the National Bingo website after her windfall, the 62-year-old – who wants to remain anonymous – said that the number seven played a prominent role in her success.

“The date was the 27th of the 7th and [numbers] seven and 27 were the last two numbers I needed for the full house,” she told the portal.

Last month, another gamer told the Malvern Gazette about how the number eight kept appearing wherever she went.

She was born on August 8th and will be celebrating her 28th birthday this year (2008).

In addition to this, the digit also came up when she won on both the bingo and the National Lottery in recent months.
