Ladbrokes Bingo have signed on their first ever bingo ambassador, an elderly lady who has been playing bingo for over 50 years.
The lady, Rose Clemson, was picked up by the club after they found she had been banned from another major club for organising a trip to a rival venue.
“When Mrs Clemson’s plight was brought to our attention our hearts went out to her,” said Ruairi Boyle, head of Ladbrokes Bingo.
“It does seem a drastic measure to ban a lifelong member – but in this instance their loss of a loyal customer is our gain. With so much experience Mrs Clemson will prove an invaluable asset to Ladbrokes Bingo.”
Ladbrokes Bingo have supplied Rose with a top of the range laptop and a monthly cash deposit into her bingo account.
She will also receive a flash new Ladbrokes Bingo mobility scooter so that she can spread the word about her bingo experience.
Rose, who has been playing bingo for over 50 years, will use her wealth of knowledge to help grow the brand, and advise on new games and promotions.
“She will assume an ambassador role and act as an advisor/consultant on our many new games and promotions,” said Mr. Boyle.
“Mrs Clemson is the linchpin of one of the most powerful social networks ever, local community – after all word
of mouth is the basis of sites such as Facebook and Myspace.”
