One of the men responsible for this year’s Latitude Festival is happy to welcome the Pet Shop Boys to the event.
Melvin Benn, managing director of Festival Republic, the firm behind the music occasion, told BBC 6 Music that the band are "just incredible".
Latitude takes place at Henham Park Estate in Suffolk between July 17th and 19th, with the famous musical twosome joining artists such as Grace Jones and Nick Cave on the headliner list.
The Pet Shop Boys – Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe – recently picked up the Outstanding Contribution to Music accolade at the 2009 Brit Awards.
Brandon Flowers, lead singer of The Killers, presented the pair with their award before joining them in a live medley that included songs from the band’s back catalogue.
"It is hard to believe this band have sold 30 million albums and they want to play Latitude," Mr Benn explained.
