Actress Linda Evans has survived working under tempestuous chef Marco Pierre White to win Hell’s Kitchen.
The 66-year-old former star of Dynasty pipped comedian Adrian Edmondson to the post thanks to a public vote on Monday (April 27th).
"I am just so glad that at 66 I was able to do this and be on television and win people over," she said after finding out she had taken the crown, adding that she "loved" her experience in the kitchen.
Evans also said that Edmondson and wife Jennifer Saunders would have to visit her in Seattle as she thinks she will suffer "Ade withdrawal" now the show is over.
The American star impressed top chef Raymond Blanc in the final with her seafood-based menu and said she was "thrilled" he had enjoyed her dishes.
Former Bottom star Edmondson, who had been tipped by some to win the show, cooked lamb for the final.
The final of the ITV1 show, which brought its fourth series to a close, attracted more than five million viewers.
