Super League rugby rivals Sean Long and Sean O’Loughlin recently battled it out in St Helens, Merseyside, over a heated game of Mecca Bingo.
Former Saint’s player Long took on Wigan rival O’Loughlin for a "fun" game of bingo continuing their competitive relationship off the pitch, according to the St Helen’s reporter.
Wigan Warriors captain O’Loughlin told the local newspaper: "There is obvious rivalry between the two sides and that extended whilst playing bingo! It was all great fun but I can tell you players from both sides were keen to come out on top.
"I think the staff were a little worried at first when they saw Wigan and St Helens players in the same room. I don’t think there has been a more competitive game of bingo since the game was invented."
The Loose Forward played for Great Britain between 2004 and 2007. Meanwhile, international scrum-half, Long, is set to move to Hull FC for the 2010 and 2011 seasons.
