Scottish bingo club gets art deco revamp

Bingo players from Scotland may be interested to learn that one of the country’s clubs recently underwent a stylish transformation.

Johnstones Bingo Club of Renfrewshire has had a complete interior makeover and, according to news source Bingo Street, the focus will now shift to the hall’s entrance.

The club’s owner Richard Laciok reportedly told the Paisley Daily: "The hall is in an art deco style and the outside is to be renovated as well to be in an art deco style."

Plans include new lighting features and signage, as well as an improved fascia.

Mr Laciok added that hopefully the renovation work and improvements will bring hordes of bingo players through the door.

Meanwhile, Bingo News reported earlier this week that Mecca Bingo may be planning to build two new £1.5 million super clubs, similar to the one it already operates in Beeston, which offers table service for drinks.ADNFCR-1782-ID-19301078-ADNFCR
