The United Kingdom is the leading “Bingo Nation” according to recent research on the popularity of online bingo around the world.

The UK has been at the forefront of online bingo since it began late last century, and the game continues to be a favourite pastime of the UK public.

“I am not surprised that the UK is being called a Bingo Nation,” says Sophie Lexus.

“It’s the most popular online game in the UK today, and more and more players are flocking to the bingo rooms every day,” said the host of Super Free Bingo.

“It’s such a huge game worldwide, and one that our nation has always embraced.”

Sophie Lexus is considered online bingo’s most famous personality, and also runs her own bingo site, Sophie’s Bingo.

Bingo doesn’t have such wide exposure in other nations, says Sophie.

“Nowhere else can you find free bingo sites advertising on TV and in the newspaper – bingo is very much a part of the British culture, so it’s no doubt we’ve been named a Bingo Nation.”
