Despite her noted style credentials as a former Vogue cover girl and TV presenter, Coleen Rooney’s fashion sense has come under the scrutiny of Brit singer VV Brown.

According to the music industry newcomer, Coleen has yet to reveal an adventurous streak with the clothes that she wears.

"She dresses very ‘safe’. I’d like to make her a little bit more dangerous. She could easily carry off something more zany because she’s pretty," VV told Celebs on Sunday.

"I like to be adventurous. Like Lady GaGa. [And] I love David Bowie. Even though he is a man, there’s always been something really futuristic and forward-thinking about his clothes, even now."

VV’s, whose debut album is due for release in June, was nominated alongside Lady GaGa last year for the BBC’s Sound of 2009 award.

Coleen recently announced that she is expecting her first baby with footballer hubby Wayne.
