OMG – I thought they were one of Hollywood’s happiest couples, but it was claimed last night that the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ actor, Johnny Depp, and his French actress partner, Vanessa Paradis, have split up. It’s sad news, as they’ve been together for 14 years and have two children together, Lily-Rose, 12 and Jack, 9.

They haven’t publicly announced their separation, but apparently they’re living apart and the American celebrity magazine ‘People’ reported that multiple sources had said they were “all but officially finished” and that they might actually have been broken up for years.

It’s thought that Johnny’s huge Hollywood success has been tearing him away from 39-year old Vanessa. They’re very rarely seen in public together and she did not accompany Johnny to the Golden Globes recently, which was the latest in a long line of events that she had not attended with him.

With these break-up rumours flying about, 48-year old Johnny is now heading off to Mexico to shoot his new movie, ‘The Lone Ranger’ – a film title that may be pretty close to home right now…
