Bo’ness, Torquay and Fenton have been the locations for Gala Bingo High 5 victories - and now south coast city Brighton has been added to that list.
An anonymous winner pocketed the £300,000 jackpot in the city and was said to be shocked at the windfall, reports the Argus.
According to the newspaper, the gamer is a 42-year-old care worker, who was only at Gala Bingo because the person she was looking after wanted a game.
Furthermore, the lucky player had only ever been to the bingo on two separate occasions in the past.
Assistant manager at the venue Paul Morgan told the publication: “The winner was sitting right at the back of the hall and she couldn’t move from her seat for about 20 minutes.”
Gala Bingo’s High 5 game also rewards the other bingo fans who are lucky enough to share the same bingo hall as the full-houser.
Fellow gamers at the Brighton establishment walked away with around £1,000 just for playing.
