The Inside Soap Awards are fast approaching, and there are only a few days for votes to be received.
Stars from the UK's best-known soaps will be heading to London for the ceremony next Monday - many of whom will be hoping to be recognised for their efforts over the last 12 months.
Nominations for the categories have been revealed, with the death of Coronation Street stalwart Vera Duckworth and Stacey's affair in BBC1's EastEnders among the frontrunners in the best storyline competition, reports the Associated Press.
Will it be Weatherfield or Walford that wins out? Or perhaps Hollyoaks and Emmerdale will triumph instead. All will be revealed in England's capital next Monday.
Actress Gemma Bissex is up for the Best Bitch accolade twice. She stars as Clare Bates in EastEnders and Clare Cunningham in Channel 4's Hollyoaks, putting her in the driving seat to win that particular gong. Many soaps stars have appeared as hosts on popular bingo sites.
