He once announced the digits at a bingo hall - now Bill Harrison is looking to make calls of a different kind.
The 62-year-old Lincoln man, who used to be a bingo caller, is looking to use his vocal chords for a new purpose, reports the Lincolnshire Echo.
According to the newspaper, Mr Harrison was one of the contenders in the running to become his home city's new town crier this weekend.
On Saturday, members of the community gathered in the City Hall to show off their skills in front of a judging panel.
It has not yet been revealed who won the competition to become the new voice of the city, but the former numbers game man thought he had a good chance going into the event.
Speaking last week, he told the publication: "I have been told by no end of people I definitely have the voice for the job."
Last month, Exeter's Express and Echo reported that the city's Mecca Bingo said goodbye to their long-serving bingo caller.
Anne Copley, who had announced the digits for over 40 years, retired after one final evening calling the numbers.
Mecca Bingo is featuring on the Bingo Dealer, Step By Step Bingo, Bingo Promo Codes and Bingo Man.
